Alter Magazine

For this project, I created a magazine. I chose the name Alter both to pay homage to the alternative styles that inspired many of the design choices I made, but also because of the definition "to change." I was responsible for all aspects of the publication, including the layout, image curation, any copywriting, and typography. I was really interested in grunge and punk design, so that style informed many of the aesthetic decisions I made with the design.

I had a lot of fun with this project; having free reign to make it about anything I wanted was something that I didn't get in a many of my assignments. So getting to express myself through this magazine was memorable to say the least.
